734. People Killed for being Faithful to God are With Him

"I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been killed because they were faithful to the word of God and to the message they had received." Revelation 6:9 NCV

Some say that if you're faithful to God that nothing bad will happen to you. Where do they get that from the Bible? Jesus taught and experienced just the opposite. The truth is
that you might suffer for your faith--but it will be more than worth it.

Lord, I praise You as the One who knows

all things--even exactly how many are

killed for their faith. In Jesus
